It’s National Library Appreciation Week at Western Taylor County Public Library! Their annual Spring Fund Raiser will be held Monday, April 24th through Friday, April 29th.
The Library is planning a special week of activities!
There will be a guessing jar with the closest guess winning the jar of treats! There will be a Spring Coloring Contest for all ages! All entries must be submitted by Friday, April 29th. But the fun doesn’t stop there!
New this year is the Gift Card Surprise Board – Everybody Wins!! There will be a board at the library containing at least 50 gift cards. For a $10 donation, get a chance to win a gift card from local businesses worth $10 or more! Just a few of the local businesses on the board are, Hidden Treasures, Gilman Corner Store, Cenex, Skabroud’s Store, Broadway Theater, Stanley Theater… the list goes on!
Also new this year is a HUGE BOOK SALE in the Gilman Village Hall. We’ve received many generous donations and the library is bursting at the seams with books, puzzles, and DVDs! The cost is simple – freewill donation or fill a plastic shopping bag for $1.00! Come on in and get some summer reading material!!
